Yes, College Essay Whiz will discuss the applicant’s qualifications, interests and needs in order to create a list of reach, target and safety schools.
I have been working with college applicants since the 1990s. I have been College Essay Whiz since 2007.
I work directly with applicants throughout the entire process. I have a team of specialists who are available to work with applicants on such areas as financial aid, test prep and resume building.
I do not limit my practice to Ivy League or first tier schools. I work with applicants to help them find colleges and universities that fulfill their needs.
Every one of my students has been accepted to college. Many of them have gotten into their first choice schools, and the great majority of them have had several schools to choose from.
My rate schedule is available upon request. (Or: My rates are based on $250 per hour and are offered in 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30-hour bundles)
Since 2017, I have worked remotely with the majority of my students via Skype and FaceTime. Since March 2020, I have worked with most students through Zoom. (Before the onset of Covid-19, I worked with students in my offices on a limited basis).

I give general guidance to students about how to approach the financial aid process and demonstrate how they can find financial aid and scholarships using Common App. I provide an introduction to financial aid consultants for detailed information and assistance.
I prefer using Zoom, but I also work with applicants by Skype, FaceTime, email, and phone conversations.
